Xiaomi presents the Mi Note, the Mi Note Pro and the My Box Mini
Xiaomi presented yesterday a collection of the 2015’s new devices. Finally, the new flagship of the Chinese company will not be the Mi5 but the My Note. Xiaomi presented simultaneously two versions of this new smartphone, the My Note and My Note Pro.
The My Note is a premium smartphone, more powerful than the Redmi Note 2014. It has an LCD 5.7-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and packs 3GB of RAM and 16 GB (or 64 GB, depending on model) of internal memory.
The My Note has a 3000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and has dual SIM with 4G LTE. The rear camera has a 13 MP sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization), while the front is 4 MP. It has a thickness of 6.95 mm and a weight of 161 grams.
The device pays special attention to sound properties, thanks to the ES9018K2M ESS decoder and the 24-bit / 192 KHz audio support. The device is covered by layer of Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides, with a 3D finish that gives it a more premium end.
It goes on sale in China for about $ 370 the model with 16GB of internal memory and for $ 450 the 64 GB one.
The My Note Pro, on the other hand, is a Premium version of the My Note. The screen has also 5.7 inches, but it has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It also packs 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, plus Cat-9 LTE. The My Note Pro will go on sale for about $ 530.
Besides, Xiaomi has also presented a miniature version of the My Box. The new My Box Mini measures a quarter of the My original Box, running a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor at 1.3 GHz, and packing a 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Flash memory.
