The Samsung’s Galaxy NX is available

The Samsung’s Galaxy NX is available to the public. This smart camera has come to the market with a pretty expensive price. The Android based camera is available for $1.599.99 (body-only) or $1.699.99 (with an 18-55mm lens).

The Galaxy NX is the first connected Compact System Camera (CSC) available on the market. It’s a 20.3 megapixel camera with a quad-core processor, Android Jelly Bean and some additional interchangeable lenses to purchase. The company describes the Galaxy NX as an adaptable and simple camera, which combines a great optical performance with connectivity capabilities and multiple applications.

“The GALAXY NX reflects the unique needs of a user who needs to take professional photos and share them immediately in any situation. For those who want to express themselves and the exciting moments that make up their lives quickly, easily and on the go, the GALAXY NX is an ideal choice” said Myoung Sup Han, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics.

The 3G/4G LTE technology allows photographers to stay always connected with the world. This feature gives the opportunity to share images or entire albums with other people. The Galaxy NX includes “Photo Suggest”, which provides location based recommendations, with a huge library of images taken across the world.

The image quality is amazing. The 20.3MP APS-C Sensor produces images incredibly bright and detailed, even in dim light conditions. In addition, the DRIMe IV Image Signal Processer delivers the speed and accuracy. The Galaxy NX also includes an Advanced Hybrid Auto Focus (AF) system which ensures precise phase and contrast detection. Finally, the camera lets you capture the action when it’s happening thanks to the 1/6000 s shutter speed and 8.6 fps shooting. The flexibility is ensured thanks to the interchangeable lenses, which promises a world of imaging possibilities.
