How to root Sony Xperia Z3

Sony Xperia Z3 will be presented to the world as its new flagship soon, but for now the latest news coming from a leak. This smartphone, which is still a bit unknown, will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor (letting for the Sony Xperia Z4 the Snapdragon 805 or Snapdragon 810 version), a resolution of 1080 x 1920 for the screen instead of a 1440 x 2560 qHD, which probably has been postponed for the Sony Xperia Z4 too.
How to root Sony Xperia Z3
Directions
- Connect your mobile device to your computer and then enable airplane mode on the phone.
- Download and open the file giefroot_v1.zip (from “Download sources”) and extract it on your computer. Click the install.bat file and follow the instructions on the screen.
- If all goes well the device is now rooted.
