Doogee Y100X Review from Everbuying

Let’s start talking about the design. The Doogee Y100X has a slightly curved and borderless design on the sides so that the screen looks more natural and easier to reach all corners with one hand. The terminal housing is manufactured with polycarbonate in the back, a material that gives the smartphone a high strength and a nice touch. In addition, Doogee has volume controls located at the back (using the curvature) to control the volume with one hand more naturally.
Doogee Y100X has endowed the screen with a 5-inch IPS panel with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels) with OGS technology and a lateral curvature of 2.5D, continuous curvature at the rear of the terminal to make it more comfortable to use and hold with one hand. To protect the display, the Chinese manufacturer includes the famous Corning Gorilla Glass solution, which has also superimposed a layer anti tracks.
Turning now to the internal hardware under the housing of Doogee Y100X we found a MediaTek MTK6582 Quad-Core processor running at 1.3 Ghz in conjunction with an ARM Mali-400 GPU and 1 GB of RAM, a mid-range hardware more than enough to run Android 5.0 Lollipop fluidly on HD screen. Complementing this we it includes 8 GB of internal storage expandable up to an additional 64 GB via micro SD memory card.
As for cameras, we found a 5 megapixel with LED flash and Smart Light Compensation technology which automatically senses the ambient conditions to implement the right spectrum to flash. At the rear, it features a 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. Its battery is 2200 mAh ensuring an autonomy of a full day without problems.
Finally we talk about connectivity, we find WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, typical light sensors, gyroscope and so on, and compatibility with 2G networks (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (WCDMA 850/1900/2100 MHz) compatible with European and American operators. And indeed, as good Chinese device, it has dual SIM, in this case a full-size SIM and micro SIM.
