Cubot X17 Review from Gearbest
Cubot is one of those brands giving a tremendously good results in the range of Chinese Android smartphones. Cubot X17 is no exception and you can have one for only $169.99 through Gearbest, the online store dedicated to smartphone, tablets, gadgets and mobile devices, among other things.
A price for a terminal that provides a Mediatek MT6735A processor with 3 GB of RAM (LPDDR3). If to this we add that is thin (6.1 mm) and lightweight (151 grams), that has a Full HD 5-inch panel JDI with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080p), makes it even more interesting, with 2.5D technology and just below this it has three capacitive keys. The internal storage capacity has 16 GB standards but is expandable through the usual microSD up to 32 GB.
As for the cameras it has a 16 megapixels sensor on the back with dual LED flash with aperture f/2.2, while the front camera sensor has 5 megapixels (interpolated to 8 megapixels). The novelty, however, in terms of photographs and videos on the new Cubot X17 not end there as we find on the smartphone features like the Multi Angle View that allows you to create a 3D image of an object or the Motion Track Mode and the Pic in Pic Mode that allows you to take a picture at the same time with both shutters. Do not underestimate the fact that the front sensor, made for selfies, is equipped with an angle of 88 degrees to capture in order to extend the view of the camera (this is a feature that is becoming increasingly popular on front cameras just to better support for selfies and self-portraits).
Obviously all the usual connectivity options are present including 4G LTE and Dual SIM each for the nano SIM and the other for the micro SIM card, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and also the USB OTG. Also HontKnot. The Cubot X17 battery comes with 2500 mAh capacity, explaining the thickness in this area. The operating system with which it hits the market is Android 5.1 Lollipop.
