Huawei Honor 7i announced, new smartphone with rotating camera
Huawei has announced a new smartphone that will surely appeal to those who tend to take pictures with their smartphones, and also selfie lovers. This is the Honor 7i, an interesting midrange whose main characteristic can be seen with the naked eye, and that is a rotating camera.
We are facing a review of the current Honor 7 of which incidentally is confirmed their arrival in Europe very soon, in which certain aspects change, such as its processor. On this occasion, using a chipset HISILICON is not done, but Qualcomm is committed in particular by the new Snapdragon 616 with Octa-core CPU, which also relies on 3 GB of RAM. For storage, we have 32 GB internal.
Honor 7i screen is the same as that of its predecessor, 5.2 inches with Full HD resolution, and a ratio of 79.8% to the front. The same battery capacity of 3100 milliamps, and 4G LTE connectivity is also maintained, as the possibility of use with two SIM cards. It also has fingerprint sensor for security.
In the video above we can see more in detail the terminal, and its curious camera, which incidentally, is formed by a sensor of 13 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture, which according to Huawei, gives quality SLR in terms of balance, noise and performance in low light conditions. For now, the Honor 7i has only been announced for sale in China through operators in the country, where its price will start from 220 euros to change.
Yes, it is noteworthy that this is not the first device with a similar feature. Other Chinese firm, Oppo, did it in the Oppo N1, which also features rotating cameras. So, it’s not something innovative, but it is still a very interesting aspect which means that we take selfies with the same quality as if we get a normal photo, avoiding the painful quality still offered in many cases the current smartphones with his camera front.
