New rooting method for the Huawei Ascend G6, the new Android phone developed by Huawei, the Chinese private high-tech enterprise which specializes in research and development (R & D), production and marketing of communications equipment and providing customized network solutions for operators of the telecommunications industry. Huawei provides 35 of the largest telecom operators in the world and annually invests 10% of its profits in research and development. In addition to its research and development centers in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Xi’an, Chengdu, and Wuhan in China, Huawei also has R & D centers in Sweden, United States, Ecuador, Ireland, Colombia, Mexico, India and Russia.

Directions

1. Download and install the Root Genius app on your PC (download available at “Download sources” at the end of this article).

2. Enable USB Debugging mode, go to the “Developer Options”, you’ll find your phone’s Settings menu. The “Developer Options” menu is hidden by default, unless it has already been enabled. To enable “Developer Options” go to Settings > About phone and tap where it reads “Build Number” quickly about 5-8 times until the “Developer Options” menu is visible on the device. When in “Developer Options”, select “USB debugging” option to enable it.

3. Open the Root Genius application and connect your phone to the computer.

4. Root Genius will automatically detect your phone. Accept the user agreement and click on the button that says “Root”. After about a minute, and after the process is complete, the phone will restart.
