Batman – The Telltale Series soon available for Android
The first episode of Batman – The Telltale Series is finally available. This is the new fiction adventure written and directed by Telltale Games in collaboration with Warner Bros.
The first episode is called Realm of Shadows and makes its debut today digitally worldwide on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will arrive later this week also on Mac, while later this month on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. As for mobile platforms, we will have to wait until 13th September, the date on which the editions for iOS and Android devices will be published on both Google Play and on Amazon’s Appstore.
Please note that the boxed version contains the Season Pass and will be available in stores again starting from September 13. Also, in case you were wondering, the inevitable cliff-hanger is quite amazing to make you want to solve the various situations as soon as possible in next episodes. But in fact there are the two enigmatic characters that go from Batman to Bruce Wayne to give us a great desire to play again.
So, after a decade of point-and-click successful titles made by the largest entertainment brands, you could safely say that Telltale Games is now in the prime of its maturity. Just when you thought that the license of Batman was now reaching the end, since it had exhausted every possible angle of Gotham City to explore, Telltale has made sure that the Dark Knight proves to be indispensable again.
In Batman: Realm of Shadows, we are at the point in the story of Batman where Harvey Dent has not yet become Two-Face, and curiously is Bruce Wayne who has to fight certain accusations of dishonesty. You can not avoid your responsibility by playing the two sides of the same character: you are both Batman and Bruce, and for any step you will accomplish, you will be reflected directly on both public figures.
