Meizu M2 Note Review from Gearbest
Here it comes one of the best phablet of the year. We are talking about the Meizu M2 Note, available from Gearbest, where you can buy it for only $160.56. One of the most complete phones on the market in its segment and possibly the best price/quality ratio.
As it is logical because its screen size (5.5 inches), the Meiuz M2 Note is a pretty large smartphone, but due to the use made of plastic as building material, the company has managed to keep a low weight. Of course, despite not having premium materials, the finishes are quite achieved, with a design line that inevitably reminds us of the Apple iPhone 5c. It includes a unibody chassis, so we can not remove the rear cover to access the battery.
One of the most interesting details is the physical button on the front bottom, a hallmark of the Chinese firm, but with a change that is to be welcomed because it improves the user experience. Now, with one touch to this button, it will be as if we press the back button, while if we keep down a couple of seconds, we’ll go to the Home screen of the terminal. As for the colors, it is available in white, gray and blue.
Already talking about what gives life to the device, we have a MediaTek MTK6753 chipset of 64 bit and 8 cores. The GPU is the Mali-T720, RAM is 2 GB, and internal storage is 16 or 32 GB depending on the model, both expandable via microSD cards. Connectivity has everything you need, including 4G, although not incorporate NFC and FM radio, and battery, with the seal of Sony, reaches 3100 milliamps.
We got to the software, and we got a pleasant surprise, because it has the latest version available of the system, Android 5.1 Lollipop, although we consider that the manufacturer uses its own layer of customization, Flyme 4.5, there will be no trace of Material Design. It also includes some pre-installed application of some use.
As mentioned, the Meizu M2 Note has a 5.5-inch screen with IGZO technology, which provides an improvement in energy consumption compared to traditional IPS. The resolution is Full HD, which gives a density of 403 pixels per inch. Speaking of sound, the speaker is on the bottom, as in terminals as the Samsung Galaxy S6.
As for the photographic section, it has a rear camera with 13 megapixel, f/2.2 sensor, and is accompanied by a dual LED flash tone. The secondary camera is 5 megapixels with 2.0 focal camera application that includes many options and is very easy and comfortable to use with a very intuitive system based on slides.
