Elephone G6 Review
Not many days ago we talked here about the Elephone G4, a surprising phone that stands out by its attractive design and affordable price. Today we will talk about the Elephone G6. We could try this smartphone with our own hands (see Elephone G6 – Unboxing & Hands-on video) and even though this is within the high-end/midrange, it exceeds in every way and by far the G4 specifications. A smartphone with 8 cores processor and fingerprint sensor, at a fair price.
As with the G4, the Elephone G6 comes already protected with a fingerprint reader. Elephone is, undoubtedly, one of the most likely to include this feature in their models, a real pioneer brand in having this feature, especially in the economic smartphone market, no premium. Elephone G6 is a jewel built around an IPS OGS 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels supported by a MediaTek MT6592 SoC Octa core processor at 1.70 GHz with Mali-450 graphics accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage expandable up to an additional 64 GB via a microSD card.
Talking about its design would have to say that is quite attractive, with a slight bend at the top and bottom reminiscent models as successful as the OnePlus One or the Oppo Find 7. The metal also plays an important role in building the Elephone G6 and occupies the whole of the front contour and mobile, giving it a very elegant and beautiful appearance. Your profile is only 7.8 mm thick and weighs just 125 grams.
Elephone G6 specifications are completed with Dual SIM 3G connectivity (850/2100 MHz), WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, OTG, 2250 mAh battery, a rear camera Sony 13 megapixel camera 2 megapixel front, fingerprint sensor, the Android 4.4.2 (optional MIUI) operating system and dimensions of 143 x 71 x 7.8 mm thick. A 13 megapixel camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels, that integrates Sony sensor.
This new device could be placed comfortably in the current high-end mobile Mediatek (if we ignore the first models with MTK6595 chip). Your complete hardware configuration is quite powerful and allow us to perform any tasks without problems. An economical terminal with really attractive benefits, around $139 (€100).
