Elephone S2 and Elephone S2 Plus Review
Elephone must be one of the companies developing more and more interesting devices at the moment. In this case it has launched the same smartphone in two different versions, same specifications with the only difference being the size of the screen; the Elephone S2 (5-inch) and Elephone S2 Plus (5.5-inch), keeping in both cases the same HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Both terminals are brought by Gearbest; the S2 at the price of $129.99 (using the coupon code ElephoneS2) and S2 Plus for $146.89 (using the coupon code ES2PLUS).
Design in both cases, as you can see in the video (accompanied by the music of Vltava (Moldau), by Bedrich Smetana), has been quite careful because apparently both Elephone S2 have glass in front and behind. The use of glass always gives a premium look and feel great in our hand. The edges look like aluminum but they are made of plastic.
In the rest of the specs we find the almost same features: Both includes the MediaTek MT6735 SoC at 1.50 GHz, and what it is the same, Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and Mali-T760 GPU, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, 3G and 4G LTE (Dual SIM) connectivity, and both have a lithium battery with a capacity of 2150 mAh and 2650 mAh, respectively. At this point Elephone S2 Plus exceeds the Elephone S2 (something logic in terms of size). This battery will provide the device in a range of 80 hours of standby time and 10 hours of web browsing.
Another of its interesting features is that it comes with Android 5.1 lollipop factory and also incorporates FM radio is starting to lose in the high range. The other big difference, matching the different screens, is in the size of each smartphone itself, measuring the Elephone S2 14.5 x 7.2 x 0.8 cm and the Elephone S2 Plus 15.0 x 7.7 x 0.8 cm. Finally, we should mention the cameras. The rear camera has 13 megapixels with auto focus and LED Flash and the front cameras have only 2 megapixels.
