How to root ZTE Nubia Z5S / Z5SN
Directions
1. Connect your phone to your computer, instantly an autorun will appear, allow it to install the drivers of the device.
2. Enable USB Debugging mode via Settings > Development options.
3. Download and install on your computer the Vroot program (found in the “Download sources” section of this post).
4. Run VRoot and connect your phone to your computer for the program to recognize it. Click the pop-up button and wait for the process to finish.
5. Flash CWM Recovery with the executable you’ll find in “Download sources“.
6. Run the downloaded file in the previous step and choose Option 1 by pressing Enter.
7. Download the program called Gapps through the link in “Download sources“.
8. Copy the file downloaded in step 7 to the phone to flash from recovery mode (restart the device by pressing the Volume Up + Power).
9. Select line 2 and select the zip file you copied to the device in step 8 .
10. Reboot the phone.
