How to root Sonim XP7

New rooting method for Sonim XP7, the new phone by Sonim Technologies.

Sonim Technologies is an American manufacturer of mobile phones. The company has distinguished itself as a manufacturer of extremely robust and shock-resistant phones. Most models are also submersible. Sonim caters mainly to markets in agriculture and forestry, emergency services, armed forces, construction, petroleum industry and adventure. Areas where a phone can be exposed to heavy use.

The Sonim XP7 is specially designed for people who tend to spend most of their time between water, snow, dust, sand, high temperatures, falls, etc. In simple terms, this is the toughest Android phone with LTE support on the market. Its specifications for shock and vibration exceed military parameters, is designed to test soil, mud, dust and sand, can be submerged up to two meters (including salt water), its screen enables touch interaction with gloves, and battery stores between two and three times the energy found in an equivalent smartphone. The most interesting thing is that their creators are not intended to replace the user’s smartphone, but the Sonim XP7 assume the role of secondary smartphone. Additional technical details speak of a SoC quad-core Qualcomm MSM8926 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 4-inch screen, two cameras (8 and 1 megapixel), WiFi n, GPS, NFC, and PTT support, among other things. The Android version is 4.4 KitKat.
