New rooting method for the Samsung Galaxy S5 on Android 5.0 Lollipop, the new Android phone developed by the South korean company Samsung Electronics, multinational company of electronics and information technology, it is the main subsidiary of the Samsung Group. With assembly plants and sales networks in 65 countries, Samsung has more than 200,000 employees. Some of the best known products of Samsung are TVs backlit LED based on conventional LCD TVs and the Galaxy product line, both smartphones and tablets. In fact, with the phone model Galaxy S, the line of smartphones Samsung has maintained the second highest position in the world market for some time. Tablets line, meanwhile, was launched at direct competition with Apple iPad.

Directions

1. Make sure you have installed the necessary USB drivers for the Galaxy S5.

2. Enable USB Debugging mode on the phone to connect to the computer and use the Android SDK with it. Go to Settings > About phone > Build number and press on it seven times in a row. A popup window will appear saying that now you are a developer. Return to Developer options and make sure the USB Debugging is enabled by clicking Accept.

3. Download and extract CF-Auto-root in your computer for a file with extension .tar.md5.

4. Turn off your phone and enter Download mode by simultaneously pressing the start button, power and volume down until an Android symbol appears on the phone screen. Press the power button again to enter Download mode.

5. Download and launch Odin on your computer.

6. Connect your phone to your computer via USB cable while in Download mode. Wait until the phone is connected successfully (COM changes color).

7. In Odin click the button that says AP and select the file .tar.md5 you extracted in step 3.

8. Verify that the options of Auto-reboot and F.Reset Time are not currently selected in Odin.

9. Re-check everything and press the Start button in Odin to start the installation process. This process will take a few minutes.

10. When complete the installation process, the phone will reboot into Recovery mode and install the rooting package.

11. Once the home screen is displayed, you can disconnect the phone from the computer safely.
