HTC today unveiled its new high-end premium smartphone, the HTC One A9. All the faith is here for a company that lately is not going through its best moment. The device has been leaking slowly for weeks, but finally HTC confirms its existence and all the details. We are facing a compact smartphone with a five-inch screen in an ultra-slim metal body.

It has been strongly criticized for its resemblance to the iPhone, but HTC should be proud of Aero. It includes new metal lines, just what many were asking the One range. This is a thinned terminal, not like one of the negative points of the One M9, and also has not been carried away by the phablets fever for large screens, and this way HTC can get another model. Here is all the information about the new HTC Aero A9.

The metal body has a 7 mm thick and is available in six different colors. Inside we find a microSD slot and 2150 mAh battery with ultra-fast charging. The HTC Aero or One A9 also includes a fingerprint reader at the bottom to take advantage of the new features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In the multimedia section we find a renewed 13 megapixels rear camera with optical image stabilization and BSI sensor lighting. Meanwhile in the front we will continue to see the now famous ultrapixels. Device edges have a double layer treatment and are polished, a sand finish on the back cover and also worked on the buttons to make it easier to distinguish. The front is dominated by the 5 inch AMOLED screen protected by a curved Gorilla Glass 4 technology, a detail that concerns about scratches on the screen.

The camera has been another aspect that HTC wanted to improve: we have a 13 megapixels camera, coated sapphire, and simplified and professional ways to take pictures. It also allows us to shoot in RAW format, and HTC itself has integrated a process for automatically treat the RAW files in about 10-15 seconds. The hyperlapse also is included in the application, no need to download third party applications.
