It’s only been five days since the BlackBerry Priv was released under the long-rumored Android device that was received with great expectations, but in the first analyzes the opinions were divided. Despite this, John Chen, CEO, hinted that Priv only be the spearhead of a possible new range of devices with Android operating system.
And a few minutes ago, the people of CrackBerry has given unveiled the first images of a new BlackBerry with Android, which so far is known under the code name “Vienna”. The first thing that stands out of this Vienna is easily visible: the design, because the hidden behind a sliding mechanism keyboard is removed, but not the star feature of Canadians, its keyboard, which becomes part of the front and has the patented design by the company.
In addition to this, including the screen and keyboard, we see the inclusion of three physical navigation keys with the icons that are so famous in Android smartphones: home, back and multitasking. In addition to this, three physical buttons on the right side of the device and one on the left side are also included.
The images also show the phone in several different colors, although it is not yet known whether BlackBerry thinks of releasing all its production models because now there is no final design and no confirmation about if this is a preliminary design. There is also the possibility that this first look at the second Android BlackBerry smartphone does not show all the colors in which the company plans to launch the device to market.
According to this design, the Blackberry Vienna seems to have a front and rear camera, with LED flash. The phone speakers appear at the bottom of the phone with a charging port on the left side, just above the SIM slot and microSD, while the power and volume buttons are on the right side. It seems to be a smartphone with a a clear target: youth segment. So far we have only its appearance, nothing of possible specifications or characteristics, which means that we are starting with a new batch of rumors and leaks, as happened with Priv several months ago.
