This early version of Android has evolved with all the effort, time and inclination that have the Google developers to achieve the third Android M Developer Preview mature sooner and makes it available on time for the final version of this, but apparently it was impossible.

A few hours ago, directly from the community on Google+, Wojtek Kaliciński officially announced Android M Developer Preview 3 will not arrive in time and until further notice it will be unavailable. The launch was scheduled before the end of July, but inevitably it has not been for some compelling reasons that have put the noose developers and could not release it in time. Of course we like to have it as soon as possible, but if it is positive for everyone no matter to wait a few days.

One important thing that we can not overlook is the detail that mentioned concerning the Developer Preview 3 as very similar to the final version. This is due, and based on the timeline, Android M be a point fairly mature and practically would be very similar to the final version that supposedly appear with the new Google Nexus terminals. This is bad news but nothing that has no solution. Within days or even hours certainly know more news about it and why not, the download link to the Android M Developer Preview 3.

The message about update on M Developer Preview 3 said “We want this to be a near final release to test your apps on, but we need a little more time to get it out to you. Please be patient and refrain from posting speculations about the release date in the community. We will announce the Preview 3 availability here and on +Android Developers as soon as it’s ready”.

Although from Google have nothing said about the time will come this Developer Preview 3, is more than presumable that the notification start to land to all devices in a couple of weeks, so it would be passed in this latest version before the final release of the time it took over the Developer Preview 2.
