Android 6.0 Marshmallow – New devices that will receive update

Nexus devices are, of course, the first smartphones and tablets receiving new updates. Not only that but both the new Nexus 5X as the Nexus 6P be the first devices to be presented with Android 6.0 Marshmallow integrated.

Already officially unveiled as Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is only a matter of time it begins to come to smartphones and tablets of other brands and OEMs. Here we summarize what terminals will have this new version, with new official information.

Google gives a guarantee of two years to update their Nexus terminals, which means that the Nexus 5, 6, 9 and Nexus Player will receive for sure the new version of the Android operating system. These terminals and the final versions are available for download and the OTA release began on October 5, but will gradually reach all other countries around the world. In any case, it is early to discuss these things, we have to wait, because it is coming in 2016 and certainly not earlier, still having time to improve or change layer of costumization for the new operating system.
